Yesterday i watched the evening news on TV. Which I rarely do these days. Kinda shocking, I must admit when I heard this comment on the news:
"Peruntukan itu meliputi RM 2 juta untuk membaiki longkang dan jalan raya rosak manakala 3.8 juta untuk projek-projek kecil di sekitar parlimen Kuala Terengganu."
"sukar untuk kerajaan meneruskan agenda pembangunan jika sekiranya Parlimen Kuala Terengganu jatuh ke tangan Pakatan Rakyat."

What a stupid statement made by one of the supposed-to-be respected leader in the state! In a broad daylight, in front of the media, not even in a sarcastic tone, he admitted that it wasn't their best interest to serve the people. Instead, they serve as a government just to make sure people who doesn't vote for them, are denied rights as a citizen.
on the other hand, it's just another form of 'rasuah'. "If you vote me, I pay. If you don't, go to hell."
This statement would not help them winning votes, at all.
Hurm, come to think of it, it could help them winning desperate votes. Maybe his degree in Political Science taught him that.

FYI Muntazeer is the famous reporter who threw his shoes at the Mr Stupid-yet-arrogant Monkey Bush. If you ask me, yeah he deserve those shoes. I would be very humiliated if I'm an American (no insult here, dear Americans. It's your President's faut). He's not even the elected President. Read "Stupid White Men" by Michael Moore and you'll understand.
